Aran Regional Branch named after Khagani Shirvani

History of the branch

The Aran Regional Branch named after Khagani Shirvani of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi was established in the city of Kurdamir based on the decision of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan dated June 30, 2004, No. 16/9. It began operating in December 2005.

The Aran Regional Branch located in the city of Kurdamir is the main cultural center implementing the cultural strategy of our state. The Aran Regional Branch operates in accordance with the general plan for scientific research and museology of the Nizami Ganjavi Museum of Literature and its individual work plan. Since its establishment, it has prepared a number of cultural and mass events and successfully implemented them.
